The Beijing Daxing International Airport China Southern Airlines Base No.1 hangar cover an area of 39,000 square meters, equivalent to 5 football fields or 80 basketball courts, is the largest single-body project in the China Southern Airlines Base, when completed, it will be the largest maintenance hangar in Asia with a span of over 400M and is also the largest single unit hangar in the world. The hangar has 5 wide-body bays and 3 narrow-body bays.

The Southern Airlines Base project is 1 set electrical sliding hangar door, thermal insulation leaves, the opening size is 402.1M width (horizontal axis length 450M) by 26M height, total 10 leaves (each big leaf is combined of 2 independent leaves with flexible connections),each big leaf is 402.1M width by 26M height, combined with 2 independant steel structure with flexible connection. Each small leaf is 56T weight and each big leaf is 112T weight.
